Frank McKee and George Potter formed a partnership in 1899 to manufacture cigars. They were in business for 20 years. At one time, the firm of McKee & Potter was the largest cigar manufacturer in Ottumwa, employing well over 100 people. They made the Armas Del Ray brand of cigars.
