Strasburger and Loeb Cigar Co.

Joe Strasburger had a cigar factory on the south side and sold it to his brother, Ben Strasburger, and Sam Loeb in 1901.

Ben Strasburger and Sam Loeb operated the cigar factory for two years – 1901 & 1902. Their partnership ended in 1903. Sam Loeb purchased Ben Strasburger’s share of the business and operated it until 1905 when it closed.

Loeb’s Trolley manufactured by Samuel Loeb. Box held 50 cigars. Factory number 80, 4th district of Iowa. Made about 1905.
